United Perks PerksPlus is a program for business owners which allows the business to accumulate points for awards based upon dollars spent on airfare for its employees.

This rewards program is in addition to the Mileage Plus program points.

Today United did a major devaluation on many of the awards which is effective 9/1/21.  It looks like the hardest hit devaluations are on the lowest ticket class of award tickets (i.e. the lowest priced awards) as well as the ability to earn Mileage Plus status.   Here are some of the changes:

All is not doom and gloom though.  There were some awards which actually came down in price:

In the end, this is a great program to have in addition to the Mileage Plus program. However, whenever any redemption levels increase for points you may have been saving, it stings.
