One of the benefits of the American Express Platinum card is the $200 annual Uber credit given in $15 monthly installments and $20 extra in December. 

Given the Coronavirus situation, my credits won’t be used.   Using the chat function in the AMEX app, I asked if they could carry the credit forward, as it’s use it or lose it in the month.  I was told no.  I mentioned that the $200 credit is a big benefit and helps offset the large annual fee.  I asked if they could issue a $15 statement credit or 1500 Membership reward points.  After checking with a supervisor, they said they will give me a $15 statement credit and to ask again in April. 

This credit is not automatic and you need to ask for it specifically.
