Happy New Year!  AMEX has released a bunch of great new offers and credits on several cards.   Some offers are automatic and some need to be added from AMEX offers.   I noticed that there was not necessarily consistency as I received some offers and my wife did not on her cards and vice versa.   

Here is a summary of what is now available:

On my American Express Platinum card I had the following offers:

Best Buy — $50 back on $50 spend two times (online purchases only)

Home Chef — $50 back on $50 spend

Scribd — $9.99 back on $9.99 spend five times

Home Depot — $50 back on $50 spend two times (online purchases only)

Couple these purchases with shopping portals and they become profitable.

On my wife’s American Express Business Platinum Card there were the following offers:

4 Extra Membership rewards in each of the following categories on the first $20,000 spend in each category:

Wireless

Advertising

Shipping

Office Supplies

Gas

Both my wife and I had a great offer on our American Express Blue  Business Plus:

$25 back on $500 spend ten times.

This is an amazing offer on a no-fee card as it is $250 back per card on $5,000 spend, or 5% back on all spend.

One other new perk of the American Express Platinum card is that you will receive $30 back per month through June on Paypal purchases.    This is worth $180.
