Following up on yesterday’s post where I got a 65,000 Bonvoy point retention bonus from Amex on my Bonvoy Brilliant card, today my wife did the same. 

She was offered a $100 statement credit after $3,000 spend, or 60,000 Bonvoy points with no spend requirement.  She took the points.  As I received 65,000 yesterday, that is a total of 135,000 points, which can be combined into one Bonvoy account via calling Bonvoy to do a points transfer between members.

Amex really wants to keep you with these large retention offers they are giving nowadays.   Again, the phone number for the retention line is  800-452-3945.
