When the Chase Sapphire Reserve refreshed its benefits back in October, it added a semi-annual $150 credit for StubHub or Viagogo. There is one credit good from January through June and another $150 credit good from July through December. Maximize the Chase Sapphire Reserve StubHub/Viagogo credit.

Once you activate the benefit on the Chase website, make a purchase on StubHub or Viagogo using your Chase Sapphire Reserve Card, and you will then receive a credit of up to $150 toward your ticket purchase. The events you are purchasing tickets for can take place at any time in the future. They do not have to take place within the semi-annual credit period.

There is a way to maximize the credit. StubHub and Viagogo are part of the same company. What I have found is that identical listings appear on both Stubhub and Viagogo. However, the prices seem to be lower on Viagogo. Here is an example:

I chose a random event — The Jonas Brothers at UBS Arena on December 21, 2025. As you can see below, on Stubhub the price, including fees, is $121, but on Viagogo it’s $111, including fees—$10 less!

Since you still have a few days to use this credit, check Viagogo and StubHub for the lower price and select the one with the lower price.
