Some Bonvoy members have a promotion in their accounts for two free nights. You will get one free night after a paid stay and another free night after a second paid stay through March 31, 2021. You will get free night certificates worth up to 35,000 points per certificate.   There are several Category 1 properties with rates as low as $70 per night including taxes and fees.   If you stay two separate nights on two separate stays, for $140 you can have two 35,000 point certificates which are worth $560 based on a point value of $.008 cents per point.  In addition, you will earn some Bonvoy points on your stay.  If you happen to have the $75 back on $250 Bonvoy spend on your AMEX account, you can stack it with this as well,  If you have an inexpensive property near you, it might be worth checking into.  If you do have this promotion in your account, you must register before booking.
